Hōkūleʻa – The Musical Saga

In 1977 Roland Cazimero and Keli’i Tau’a embarked on a musical voyage of the sailing vessel, Hōkūle’a. At that time, the canoe as well as the music was an experiment in exploring Hawaiian beginnings–the heart and soul of a people who braved the ocean for a land they knew existed only in legend.

This CD is filled with compositions related to the Hōkūleʻa and has become a classic.
